A modular belt conveyor carries product on a belt built from interlocking plastic modules joined by hinge rods, rather than one continuous length of fabric or rubber. Flat top
A closed, continuous surface. The general-purpose choice for packaging, small items and stable product transfer, and the most common modular belt type.
Flush grid
An open-area belt that lets water and air pass straight through. Used for washing, draining, cooling and any wet process where liquid has to drop away from the product.
Raised rib
Ribs moulded across the belt surface stop product sliding back on inclines and declines, so it can lift product between levels without cleats or a separate elevator.
Perforated and open hinge
Maximum open area for airflow. Suited to drying, cooling and freezing lines where air needs to move through the belt as well as around the product.
